South Fraser Perimeter Road

Synopsis

A new 40km, 4-lane, highway along the south side of the Fraser River from Deltaport Way in southwest Delta to 176th Street (Hwy 15) in Surrey. It is a project in the Gateway Program. Cost est. $1 billion. Route includes sections of Burns Bog, and residential neighbourhoods. Its primary purpose is for trucks moving containers in and out of Deltaport.
