Synopsis

Teck Coal proposes to develop 2 new mining areas adjacent to its existing Line Creek Operations, providing an additional 52 million tonnes of clean coal. Mine footprint and operational boundary is 1,800 ha. Expected mine life is 20 years. 20 km northeast of Sparwood.
