Remove the farms from Wild Salmon Narrows
|
Synopsis Five open net-cage salmon farms operate in Okisollo and Hoskyn Channels along the east and north of Quadra Island. Four more are not presently operating. Fish and marine protection groups are compaigning to have all these farms shut down as a necessary emergency measure to protect wild salmon, including Fraser River Sockeye, from sea lice infection from fish farms. |
