Aquilini Renewable Energy Proposal - Christina Lake

Synopsis

CANCELLED - Apr 2010. The Aquilini Investment Group was proposing petroleum-based industrial waste "recycling" centre that would generate synthetic gas, aggregate solids and reusable metals from the paint, aerospace, electronics and oil and gas industries. The applicants claimed that the facility would produce only reusable products with no contaminants or residuals that are unusable or that require land filling. The proposed site is just north of the US border, just south of Christina Lake.
