Upper Lillooet Hydro Project
|
Synopsis Creek Power (Innergex 60%, Ledcor 40%) is proposing a 113 MW hydro project on three streams - North Creek (16 MW), Boulder (Pebble) Creek (23 MW) and the Upper Lillooet River (74 MW) - about 60 km northwest of Pemberton, BC. A new 72 km, 230 kV transmission line will connect to the grid near Rutherford Creek, south of Pemberton. Concern has been expressed by kayakers and conservationists who fear the dewatering of scenic Keyhole Falls. Has EPA with BC Hydro. |
